Week 18

Left the luxury of a house and headed back into the bush. First stop for one night only Shelly Beach, at the bottom of a cliff and tents only no caravans so we felt special. Unfortunately while walking on a wonderful beach I found that the fishermen had used it for a
toilet, not impressed.

Next stop Waychinnicup Beach, what a wonderful secluded camp ground this is, again tents only as the sites are very small, suits us fine. This bay is one of the few that empty into the sea with no sandbar so the water was excellent.

Next stop, Stokes Inlet, we spent 3 days here as we felt too tired to move. Did a lot of walking right out to the sandbar, along the shoreline and up the limestone cliffs, quite difficult in places but worth the effort.

2. Shelly Beach
3. On the sand bar Stokes Inlet
4. Shoreline Stokes Inlet
